We need to remember that there is no easy way to earn money online. Unless you have money to invest in something already, you'll have to start from the bottom and work your way up. Paying for a program that promises ways for you to make money but wants you to pay a fee upfront, IS USUALLY A SCAM. In listening to many successful online entrepreneurs, they've said you should never have to pay money to create a product for a legitimate WFH business. You can begin with your own product, creativity or ebook. But that doesn't mean you won't have to pay for training of some kind or advertising. 

Depending on the type of WFH company it is. A legitimate WFH company makes their money from the options or products they give you to purchase and sell in order for you to make money.  With an Affiliate Marketing business you won't pay for products. Working with companies such as: Clickbank, Commission Junction or ShareASale, you'll earn a percentage of the sales you make.  Although you may also need to invest some money for advertising but that's not the same as paying money up front. WFH sites that ask for a "one time fee" leads me to believe they are scams. Don't trust these kind of sites. Read the PRIVACY POLICY & TERMS OF SERVICE. Get into the habit of doing this. You'll be surprised at what you will learn. Knowledge is power.

The 60 day or 30 day money back guarantee can be different in the terms than what it states on the capture page of the site. There are no guarantees of making ANY money. There in lies the scam. You can start your research by checking the sites you're interested in by going to RipOff Report, Scam Advisor, BBB and Alexa. These alert sites can be very informative.  Also don't trust all those magnificent testimonials you see on a landing page. Turns out a lot of them are fake. Keep searching for legitimate ways to earn money.  Do your research on your idea before you commit and you'll find what you need. Be safe out there..the internet is a huge place and is full of trickery.

Read The Fine Print - Good Habits Make Good Sense.

Well another day of exploring the internet universe of different types of online businesses and I learned something that I want to share with all of you looking for that perfect internet business. First off always read the entire offer. Especially the small print. If you look at the bottom of the site page you'll usually find the Terms of Use, Terms of Service or T.O.S. Take a few moments to read through it. That's right..I know it's a pain in the processor, but usually the T.O.S. will let you know what the site actually offers and what the site expects from you. You can also find out who to contact in case you have questions about the site. Sites that are "out to get you" by taking your hard earned money will not always be upfront with you about all things. This can save you a lot of headaches later on. Also if you're not clear on something don't hesitate to contact their customer support team, email them if you're not sure about "any" certain part of what you're reading.

Always take a few worthwhile minutes to check out any site you're considering. One good way to check out a site is to use the website called Ripoff Report. Its kind of like the Angie's list for websites. Or just Google the name of the website and often times there will be reviews written about it. Not all reviews are valid because disgruntled people may try to make the site look bad by writing negative feedback. Its important that you are clear about the site you are considering doing business with. The valid website will have a support team who is always happy to answer your questions. Usually within a reasonable amount of time. So check your email often until you receive an answer. If its been several days go back to the site and click on "Contact" which is usually located at the bottom of the page.

You can usually send an inter-office message to them or a phone number may be listed for you to call with your questions. One of the things learned was you have to be careful about what you sign up for. A legitimate site will always want to help you to understand what they are all about. After all..they want you to register with them. Especially watch out for Trial Offers. You need to be clear on how long the trial lasts and how much $ you'll be paying once the trial expires. Of course you can cancel the trial before the trial period runs out but make sure you keep track of the trial time or you could find yourself with a surprise charge, and no one likes those kind of surprises. Don't forget the Privacy Policies too. It has information that is important and useful. It will tell you about how they use your information.

Although it may take a few moments of your time to read the terms and privacy policies its well worth it. I'm sure you've heard the expression, "Read the fine print." Well the same goes for registering with any website. Get into the habit of reading the terms and there will be no unwanted surprises later on. As you become more familiar with reading the T.O.S. and Privacy Policies, you'll get accustomed to knowing what to look for. Because a lot of these pages are similar in many paragraphs. That being said, don't take it for granted that every website will have the exact same terms, they don't. Which leads me to the saying: "An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure." We usually have 3 to 4 seconds before a prospect either continues reading your webpage and becomes a customer or decides to bounce, which means leave it. So make your page with those tips in mind and you will find that you have more prospects that will become customers.

Tell your visitors or prospects what your offer will do for them. If a prospect is looking for information about a particular item, you want to let them know that you have valuable information that can help them with this or that, as it pertains to their interests. You want to build your list, after all, your list is another very important component to building your business. People want to know what they'll get. What will benefit them by staying on your page and continuing to be interested. Offering a free gift or a free ebook of good content relating to your niche' is of value to your prospects. By offering to give a potential customer something of value, for free, will usually keep them on your page. They usually will enter their name and email in the opt-in form in order to receive their free gift. Which in turn builds your email list. Since you are usually promoting your product, you want to be sure that what you offer prospects will benefit them in some way. This will also build your internet presence and reputation. And as you know, your reputation is the medal we wear, sort of speak, that represents our businesses. Whether your business in online of not. Reputation is key to success. So keep your business reputation healthy.

This brief summary is important because if you ask any successful Entrepreneur or as many have come to be called, Infopreneurs, they will tell you that these 3 tips are very important to creating and building a valuable, successful online business.
